The Abraham Lincoln Art Gallery was launched in 2003 for the
initial purpose of selling original Lincoln bronze sculpture by James Nance.
Since then it has grown into a more comprehensive Lincoln resource site which
offers Lincoln related links of organizations, libraries, papers, and
photographic sources. The "Art Essay" page contains essays by
James Nance on subjects ranging from Abraham Lincoln, the creation of his
sculptures, bronze casting, and art in general.
The Lincoln photo page offers free downloadable photos from
the Library of Congress as well as a cross reference guide of the photo's
catalog reference numbers for Ostendorf, Merseve, and Library of Congress. We
plan to eventually add all known Lincoln Photographs to this site.
The Lincoln sculpture and art currently available is located on the
"Our Store" page. During 2007 we will be adding a number of
other Lincoln sculptures and related products. We offer a full money back guarantee
on any item sold.
For anyone interested in commissioning a private portrait
sculpture, James Nance is a portrait specialist; the
"Commission" page provides a comprehensive handbook on the process
entitled "The Fundamentals of Portrait Sculpture. "
Thank you for visiting.
